About Midway Sales

Owned & Operated by the Spring-Brown Family

Midway Sales Pty Ltd is a fully owned Australian family business with all members of the Spring-Brown family involved. The family was raised on farms to the north of Melbourne and later to the north of Brisbane, resulting in an early start with farm machinery maintenance and operation.

Nick was initially employed and qualified in the building trade, while Cam, Troy and Scott qualified as mechanics. Initially Nick and Scott joined Midway Sales and as the business built up Cam and Troy sold out their business Midway Motors and joined Midway Sales.

Regular buying trips overseas 2 to 4 times a year are assisted by Scott being fully conversant with the Japanese culture and language after spending part of his school time in Japan living with a Japanese family.

In 2003 Midway Sales moved to a new premise on the Bruce Highway 36km north of Brisbane (Queensland). The new building covers 3/4 of an acre which includes workshop, storage and showroom. Total area of our complex is 6 acres with plenty of room for tractor test and demonstration.

Equipment sold includes late model, low hours Japanese tractors, excavators, fork lifts, machinery and new Chinese tractors. Australian built implements are fitted to this equipment which is sold fully serviced, detailed and with warranty. Beyond warranty, after sales information and backing is extended to all purchasers of equipment from us.

We concentrate on smaller tractors from 12hp to 60hp which are suitable for properties from 1 acre to 200 acres. Many small, diesel powered tractors are replacing petrol ride on mowers with greater economy, flexibility and the benefit of outlasting the ride on mowers many times over.

A full range of implements can be fitted to tractors we sell, which includes slashers, mowers, rotary hoes, front end loaders, back hoes, posthole diggers, blades and all implements that fit cat 1, 3 point linkage.

Our new premise includes a quarantine approved wash bay that results in tractors being cleaned, serviced and detailed in house before being offered for sale.

Midway Sales has invested millions of dollars in buildings, equipment and spare parts and it is most important that potential customers take into account our ability to back the equipment we sell on a long term on-going basis.
