POWER PLANT

The East Wind DFM range is available in 25, 30, 35, 40 and 55HP models giving you a choice of power plants. Powered by the world famous China Diesel Engines of Perkin and Ricardo design, the direct injected, water cooled design delivers abundant, tractable power for farming applications. And the power is delivered without the need for high engine revs due to the large engine capacity – ensuring a long engine life.

Literally millions of these engines have been produced over the years and they have earned a reputation for bullet proof reliability.

All tractors are fitted with Australian Certified Folding Roll Over Protective Structures and retractable seat belts.
A clutch engaged safety switch prevents accidental take offs when starting.
A PTO cover protects against accidental entanglement of operator.

INTELLIGENT DESIGN

Some smaller tractors use one hydraulic pump for all of its needs. East Wind use dual hydraulic pumps - one for the power steering and a second for the 3 point linkage and attachments. This gives you more in reserve for your lifting requirements.

On top of this, dual hydraulic remotes come standard on the East Wind making connecting up hydraulic powered attachments a breeze.

The clever high-lift bonnet design gives easy access to the engine for servicing. And with a simple design it is easy to conduct your own maintenance.

Power steering rams are safely positioned in behind the front hub axle to prevent accidental damage in rugged use conditions. Other designs leave you potentially exposed to expensive repair bills.
